There are very few initiatives that take traffic safety for children seriously. Schools and authorities lack a clear strategy and common tools. As part of a new strategy centered on Volvo Cars, Rejmes Bil car dealership needed to take a clear position that focused on families with children and their safety, and in line with Volvo brand positioning.
Together with True Stories, Rejmes Bil developed a concept for communicating child safety in traffic to its key target group – families with children. The concept is built on the character Blinki so that children can gain vital knowledge in a fun and enjoyable way. Blinki serves as a recognizable focal point where families with children can increase their knowledge about child traffic safety. The concept can be experienced in showrooms, at events, on-line and more.
In just a very short time, the concept has significantly increased the number of families visiting Rejmes Bil, where they can now also learn about child safety. The concept is now fully and regularly activated and there is now talk about expanding the concept to other dealerships.
